Meet Our Staff
Alberto Acosta
Executive Director and Chief Curator
Alberto has been designing and commissioning exhibitions for more than 20 years while serving as Executive Director and Chief Curator for several museums he worked to found and administrate. His popular exhibitions have been hosted by 50 museum venue cities throughout the U.S.A., Canada, Taiwan and Puerto Rico. After searching nationwide for a permanent location for his traveling collections, Alberto is happy to have found them a home in the Coachella Valley, where they will grow with important acquisitions and provide a rare, unique and alternative museum experience for residents and visitors as a legacy for now and future generations.
Joseph McCabe
Director of Development
Joe brings his expertise to the Museum of Ancient Wonders after serving on the board of a non-profit community health provider in Pennsylvania gaining valuable non-profit leadership experience. He holds a BA in Finance and an MBA. Joseph was Director of Marketing and Development for Linden Hall Publishing, the US startup of Pinpoint Publishing, the largest publishing company in the UK. After coming to the Palm Springs area for several years for business and pleasure, it was time for the move. He looks forward to working to make the museum a prime attraction for the Coachella Valley.
